Privacy Policy

This site, kylegosselin.com, is the personal and business website of Kyle Gosselin, founder of Marketing Apes. This policy explains what information the site collects, how it is used, and the choices you have. It is written in plain English on purpose.
What this site collects
- Information you send me. If you email me or click through to Marketing Apes and fill out a form there, I receive what you choose to share — typically your name, email address, phone number, and a description of what you need.
- Information collected automatically. Like most websites, this site uses Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics 4 to understand how people use it: pages viewed, buttons clicked, approximate location, device and browser type, and referring source. Meta (Facebook/Instagram) and TikTok pixels may also be present so that I can measure advertising and show relevant ads on those platforms.
- Cookies and similar technologies. The tools above set cookies or use similar identifiers. You can limit or block them in your browser settings, and most ad platforms offer their own opt-out controls.
How I use it
- To reply to you when you reach out;
- To understand which pages and campaigns are working, and to attribute inquiries to the page or ad they came from;
- To improve the site and the services Marketing Apes offers;
- To meet legal obligations.
What I do not do
I do not sell your personal information. I do not rent, trade, or sell it to data brokers or unrelated third parties. Analytics and advertising platforms process data on my behalf under their own terms, and I do not hand them your inbox or your phone number for any purpose other than measuring this site and its advertising.
Who else sees it
Service providers that help run the site and the business — hosting, analytics, advertising, email, and data-storage providers — may process information under agreements that limit their use of it. If you become a Marketing Apes client, the Marketing Apes privacy terms apply to that relationship. I may also disclose information if required by law.
Your choices and rights
- You can ask me what information I hold about you, ask me to correct it, or ask me to delete it. Depending on your state or country you may have additional rights; I honor reasonable requests either way.
- You can block cookies and tracking through your browser settings, Google's ad settings, and Meta's and TikTok's ad preferences.
- If you have emailed me and no longer want to hear from me, just say so and I will stop.
Retention and security
I keep information only as long as it is useful for the purposes above or required by law, and I use reasonable technical and administrative safeguards to protect it. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure.
Children
This site is intended for adults. I do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Changes
I may update this policy from time to time. The effective date at the top reflects the latest revision.
